If I hadn’t grown up surrounded by dogs (of the family’s, or in my mother’s dog grooming shop, or at the stables) who knows what I would have done with my life!
Luckily, I have always lived a life full of animals…dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, horses, birds, and even a few squirrels! When it came time for me to grow up and pick a career, becoming a dog trainer was a pretty obvious choice!
Not only do I have decades of animal experience in general, but I also went thru the Animal Behavior College’s Professional Dog Trainer Program, and became an ABC Graduate in 2007 before starting Bad Dog Basics!
I’ve always been focused on continued education , and have completed certifications thru multiple Dog Trainers Programs. I am also currently back in school to eventually receive a Dip-CAB(canine) thru the Canine Behaviour College. I want to be the most educated I can so that I’m more able to help more dogs, and more owners, thru more behavior struggles, as easily and effectively as possible.
I am here to HELP DOGS!
That’s also why I’ve volunteered for so long with Save One Soul Animal Rescue League.Together we have reshaped what an ethical, educated rescue organization should look and operate like. We have been able to help so many dogs needing homes, as well as help the adopters that go home with these dogs, and together we will continue to do so!
